Production Technology Supervisor

Department: Production


Manage the planification, coordination and delivery on the creation and maintenance of inhouse tools for use in the production of our feature films.

Main responsibilities

• Work together with the IT, R&D, Pipeline Supervisors and the Head CG Supervisors to plan and execute the projects.
• Liaise with production stakeholders for requirements, priorities, test and roll out plans.
• Define development scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value. Plan and schedule development in accordance with our roadmaps and clearly communicate this information to the wider company.
• Give direction and ensure that the goals established in the planning’s are met, controlling and monitoring them.
• Management of change control and its impact upon the business case and baseline plan.
• Advise on the allocation of development resources and guide developers to meet the needs of the projects.
• Organize and lead projects/developments status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for developments.
• Ensure that teams have appropriate specifications, direction and resources to meet deadlines.
• Facilitate communication and project planning, review and retrospective sessions.
• Report to management and escalate issues when necessary.
• Work within the team of Production to ensure consistency of approach.
• Define and manage a well-defined project/developments management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management.
• Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of quality for the team.


• Minimum 4 years’ experience working as a Project Manager in a technical environment.
• Agile, Scrum, PMP or PRINCE2 experience or similar, requested.
• Experience with ticketing systems e.g. Jira. Experience with MS Project or a similar package is essential; as well as with standard Office tools.

• Extensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, computer science or related field is desirable.
• Advanced or bilingual English level is a must.
• Agile, Scrum, PMP or PRINCE2 certificate or similar, desirable.
• Knowledge of visual effects or animation pipelines and tools is a plus.
