a history of entrepreneurs

Since the 1980’s both Javier and Ignacio Perez Dolset have been proactive entrepreneurs within the digital and entertainment industries. Early ventures within the newly formed World Wide Web led to successful inroads into web portals (LaNetro) and videogames (Pyro Studios) with some tangible success stories including “Commandos”, one of the best-selling videogames in the late 90’s with more than 8 million copies sold worldwide.

Over the years their experience as well as their curiosity has led them to create one of the biggest independent mobile content providers on a global scale: the Zed Group. With operations in more than 62 countries, agreements with 130 mobile networks and over 1,500 employees worldwide, the Zed Group today is a successful testament to the ambition and leadership of the Perez Dolset brothers within the digital and mobile landscapes.

The launch in October 2011 of U-tad (University Centre of Technology and Digital Arts), the first official pan-European digital content university, is an important milestone in a career devoted to leading and innovating within the digital and entertainment industries.
